Jerry Gonzalez

Jerry A. Gonzales II serves as the Director of Human Resources with the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. In this role, he is responsible for the complete provision of work and strategy regarding LMNA’s people – from recruitment to ongoing professional development.

Prior to the Lucas Museum, Jerry worked at Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE), where he served as the Senior Director of Talent, Learning, and Culture.

Jerry studied Law at the University of West Los Angeles, has a BA in Asian-American Studies and Anthropology from UCLA, and is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University.


Jerry Gonzalez is a certified Senior HR Professional through both the Society of Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Certification Institute and is a certified mediator through Eckerd College.

Jerry was a part of the rapid growth at LEE, expanding the organization by 5x. Previous experiences include positions at The Broad Center and UCLA’s Counseling and Psychological Services and UCLA’s Community Programs Office.

He lives in the Los Feliz community in Los Angeles, California with his family.
